The Ferretti Group supports David Beckham's "7" fund for UNICEF! Thanks to the donation of the proceeds from the auction of a special edition yacht...
The Group's participation in this wonderful humanitarian initiative was carried out in support of the children of El Salvador, so that they can more easily access sports, cultural, and artistic activities. These humanitarian programs, which have already benefited over 36,000 children, aim to promote inclusion, eliminate gender stereotypes, and strengthen community ties, in a country where violence against children remains a major challenge.
A SOLIDARITY PARTNERSHIP FOR CHILD PROTECTION
The funds generated by the auction of the famous Riva Anniversario from the Ferretti Group, supporting David Beckham's "7" fundraising, aim to provide Salvadoran children with safe spaces to learn and play. This initiative aims to facilitate access to education and better development opportunities for the most vulnerable youth. It also seeks to promote an inclusive environment, free from gender stereotypes, where all children, without exception, can thrive and reach their full potential.
Carla Haddad Mardini, Director of Private Fundraising, feels deeply grateful towards the Group. Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, also expresses gratitude to UNICEF for the opportunity to be part of this project: "It is an honor to have actively participated in this project, which offers hope and opportunities to thousands of children and their families." This action demonstrates the Group's commitment to "such a noble and deserving cause as child protection," contributing to a better future for generations to come.

COMMITMENT TO A BETTER FUTURE
In El Salvador, violence against children remains a major challenge, with nearly 29,000 reported violations of children's rights in 2023, of which 87.45% were related to violence and abuse. Social norms and attitudes entrenched in the country perpetuate various forms of violence against children and adolescents, both at school and at home.
To address this issue, the "7" fundraising initiative works in the most affected regions to prevent acts of violence and to strengthen child protection services to make them more accessible. The David Beckham Funds were launched in 2015 to mark his tenth anniversary as a roaming ambassador. The "7" refers to the number he wore while playing for Manchester United.
The collaboration between the Ferretti Group and David Beckham's "7" fund for UNICEF will bring significant and positive changes to the lives of children in El Salvador. With their lives often threatened by violence, the goal is to strengthen child protection services, making them more accessible, and to facilitate access to education within safer and more suitable public spaces.
